p17 The journey into this life seems like a dangerous one, not because it is violent, but because it skillfully undoes everything the mind cherishes and, most of all, protects. The soul that undertakes this simple path has to be willing to lose all of their illusions, even their desire for reward. Consenting to vanish without a trace, the soul finds itself, not in darkness, but in a Light so vast it cannot bear the name “light.”
